Puppeteer and theater artist Basil Twist visited the University of Iowa campus Sept. 29, 2016 to deliver the second lecture in the Creative Matters series sponsored by the UI Office of the Vice President for Research. 2015 MacArthur Foundation recipient Basil Twist is a puppeteer and theater artist whose experiments with the materials and techniques of puppetry explore the boundaries between the animate and inanimate, the abstract and the figurative.
